Leona didn’t know how to react to all of this, all her life was in a family that knew nothing but love. The old woman that was their master loved all her urakata like they were her kids, but she was an old woman and because of that she died of old age. Leona was sad about this, but right now there was nothing she could actually do. Her old master was no more so they had to find them another master; she just hoped that she is as lucky as she was with her last master. She would put all her love in that master and would satisfy all their needs.
The place in which they were kept wasn’t so nice. Until they are sent to the auction, or a master comes to visit this place in order to find a pet they like before the auction starts; they are kept in a place that had the smell close to the one you usually find in public toilets. It was bad, mostly because the people there were treating them bad; they didn’t really care about their living conditions since none of them spend too much time here. And those that spend too much time here is because they can’t be sold, thing that meant that those creatures would soon be killed.
Leona was lucky, since she was healthy, clean and listened to every command she was given, and so was for the other urakata her old master had. She is a friendly kitten. All she could think of right now was how much fun she would have with her knew master; she didn’t know that not all of them were like her old one. She thought that being a slave to someone was more like being a child that was adopted. Of course they had some chores to do, but all kids have that. All those illusions were planted in her mind by her old master; hopefully those illusions won’t be shattered.

Most kids saved up their money and did one of two things: they bought something they really liked -- whether that be a new game, console, clothes, jewelry, or just blow it on movies and food. Or, they saved it up and put it towards continued education, the kind branded with an enormous fee. They were in dilemma between something either fun, or productive, and either option was useful, even if some of them were transient. They were useful at a specific time, or useful in the future. But what if one of those kids saved up for something that would be useful in the present, and the future?
Well, not a lot of teenagers were thinking that way -- but really, she was a young adult at this point. In fact, her birthday had only been several days ago, and her good mood lingered. While others used their money for trifling, or perhaps even more major things, she decided that her investment would be a method of lightening the weight on her shoulders. A way of alleviating some of the stress that has, for her entire life, burdened her mind and caused problems on the psychological and sometimes physical level. And what better way to do so other than to make someone her slave, and do everything for her?
She didn't spend a lot of time scrutinizing the building's fine architecture, as stunning as it was. Her wealth was maintained thanks to her father's legal support -- she'll have to thank him one day -- and thus she had a pretty nice home to boot, so she was somewhat accustomed to such a sight, even if it completely dwarfed all of the possessions she had when it came to exquisiteness.
When she made her way into the building, she wondered what was in store for her. How it would work -- the process of it all. What would be for sale, and if she'd be content with them. She needed someone disciplined, someone trustworthy, and someone faithful regardless of what she did in her manic or depressive episodes. The species being by no means esteemed, she cared little for the well-being of the slave as of yet -- she just needed someone to do as they're told, so she herself didn't have to deal with such an overwhelming amount of things, on top of coping with her ill and near unresponsive mother.

She was very disappointed of this place; there was no way that an urakata could live like this. But she had no saying in how they were kept in the cages, the bad conditions that would make anyone sick. She was just one of the prisoners waiting to be taken by a new master. What she didn’t know was that not all masters were as nice as the one she had until now; a master that thought her so many things, but still kept the information that there are some bad masters out there away from them. What else could she do except waiting.
Looking at all those urakatas she wondered why some of them were hurt, maybe they had accidents in the places they were and the only reason that they are here was that their masters got old too and died too, so now they needed to find new masters. There was nothing she could do here, and she couldn’t even walk around since the cages were only two by two, and with a bucket in a corner in which she had to do all her, well let’s say that where she leaves everything that should be in a toilet. But she was careful enough to keep her cage clean unlike others there.
And because of that she was allowed to get out of the cage as soon as she did something in the bucket and clean it. It seems that being nice and doing whatever you are told gets you things that could help you. In this case since she looked clean and she was doing orders so easily, she was a bit more expensive than others but you could say that the money is worth it if you want someone like her. Right now she was sitting on a chair outside the cage taking care of her tail. How were cats taking care of their fur and tails? Of course she was licking it since she didn’t know any other way to do that.
