August didn't pay much attention to Feral, like he couldn't see him. That eye was seriously damaged, and he didn't think much of it. His father's anger got away from him. And August had years to learn to live with this. Even when he was teased about those scars he just kept playing it off. Simple on his part. He had his ways to get to this boy. But he'd rather just let it go. Shrugging this off the boy only sighed. August didn't like Feral not having his memories, just that idea. It bugged him a lot more then he actually showed anyone at this point. Feral didn't need to know what he felt. Not when he didn't have any memories about any of that. "If you are sure on that one. You should still try later." Not like he could force a slave into this, now he'd try maybe. But it wasn't about to actually get him anywhere either. That would just be too easy if it worked out that way. Right now he just shrugged then yawned. The exhaustion was starting to take over. And he didn't know why. August usually found sleep easy, but this time he didn't. Well not as much. Looking over at the door he figured leaving might be a good idea. It'd at least get them somewhere. Though at the same time he didn't know what to do. "I guess...Hm. oh my eye....father got angry with me. When something happened, and he didn't want me to disobey him again. Of course when he did something to my friend, just getting this little wound didn't matter." The boy just shrugged, and pulled back from the window moving his hair back over his eye. He didn't seem bothered by what that boy asked. It just didn't matter to him, right now he didn't need to think much of that. It probably wouldn't end up meaning very much. They had a few things to think about. Or well talk about when he got the memories back. "We are the only ones here. I don't let anyone else stay in this house. Mother and father have moved recently so they can retire." That was all he thought on this matter. Really the small boy had not cared that his father left. No need to deal with these things. He'd just rather not deal with any of it to begin with. August hated his father, but acted as if he didn't. Simple on that one. Why did this guy want to know that though? It probably meant he was up to something. What Doesn't Kill Me
Makes Me Feel Alive!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The lack of communication between slave and master seemed to grow by the seconds. His new master wasn't much of a talker and there was nothing wrong with that as Feral was very much the same way. At least, he thought he was as he wasn't sure how he actually was before the accident. But he could tell that the younger man didn't want to be bothered with his new slave. August just seemed to have that overwhelming aura of disappointment. Feral couldn't figure out why he picked up on that note or why it even bothered him as much as it did. He barly knew the fella and here we was being a bit overly concerned with the fact. The bear shook the feeling off as much as he could. He instead turned his attention to the window and peered out at it. Maybe, he could find something that could hold his attenion. Something to take his mind off the stress he was feeling. The pressure in his head and chest was enough to make him think he could get sick to his stomach quickly. Feeling uncomfortable, he started to scratch at his knuckles like he had always done since before the accident. He had no idea how to handle the information that was just given to him. Nor could he grasp the idea of a parent harming their own child even though he never really had parents of his own. Still, the action alone was enough to cause a bit of anger even if he couldn't understand why. "What happened to your friend?"]The bear paused for a moment. "You're friend must of meant a lot to you."
Being the only ones in the home made the bear feel more at ease. Less people he would have to deal with and less to worrya bout. As long as there as only one master to have to deal with was good enough. He didn't like having to keep anymore then that happy.
The lack of communication was just all the awkward, he didn't want to make someone mad. Mostly Feral, he cared about that man a lot anyway. Right now he didn't know what to do. August hadn't learned how to handle certain things he should have, it was basically simple in his mind. Yet he had a feeling he might just be getting into trouble or something along those lines. Feral barely knew anything about him after all. His memories were gone, so trying to get them back. Well it'd end up taking awhile, or at least he thought so anyway. At least now he had Feral back with him, and he could take care of the slave properly. The way he always wanted to. Smiling lightly he just tried to force his body to relax. Not like he needed to worry about that, he had more then enough to deal with tomorrow. Most of it was going to be teaching Feral. Letting him learn his way around, then learn the things he could and couldn't do Mostly on the couldn't would be when company was over. He didn't need to care what the boy did as long as it wasn't escaping. He'd have to get him hunted down if Feral tried to escape. Which he didn't want, that ended with a lot of violence. And other matters as well by that point really. Right now he had very little idea of what to say sometimes. Mostly because a slip of the tongue could reveal a lot of things. And cause a few problems for them. Which he honestly did not actually want to happen either. So perhaps it was for the best that he kept most of his emotions and memories hidden behind closed doors. Or boxes in this case whichever applied. "Father sent him away. Said he was too violent, don't see how that applies. But eh I've seen him a few times, he's just a little different." August only shook it off, and relaxed again. Putting on his happy smile, just being what he usually was. He didn't feel that bothered with Feral, no he wanted to keep him here. It was just past memories and all were trying to get in the way. So for now he'd just manage to ignore them. The best way he knew how to really perhaps he needed to say something. Something else anyway. That wasn't so open like this was right now, it'd only make it majorly awkward. "He still does mean a lot to me...but anyway. Let's get you back to bed hm? We have a lot of work to do tomorrow." August wasn't going to keep Feral from doing things, nope he just wanted him to get out there, and at least have some fun with things. Hopefully that'd be easy enough for him, but also the boy had been locked up for awhile. So that was another matter to think of as well. What Doesn't Kill Me
Makes Me Feel Alive!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Feral felt a bit lost once again. He didn't know what to say or how to act towards his new master. What does a slave do in this kind of situation were his head was pounding and his master was unhappy. Sighing softly, Feral ran a hand through his hair and turned away from the window. It seemed August was correct, all of this was far to much for the mentally damaged urakata. He couldn't recall a damn thing even though he wanted too so badly. He did gather a few clues from the mans horrible poker face. The child in the picture was his master at a young age and apparently he knew Feral before his brain went funny. But how much did he know of him? Did they bump into the streets? Was he owned by a family friend at one point? There were too many questions to be asked and not enough answers to be given. "At least you get to see him, right? So, that's a good thing even if he is a bit different." The bear shrugged his shoulders and cleaned up the mess on the desk that he had created earielr. Maybe August was right, bed would be a good thing for him. He hadn't slept in a actual bed for a long time---if even got a real bed to sleep in. He hadn't seen his room nor its location as of yet. Sighing, he turned towards August a bit awkwardly. "I suppose you are right, but I don't know where I will be staying." Hopefully, not a broom closet. He cleared his throat lightly. Even though he did not make an answer to his master when he spoke of his past friend and his affections, a part of him felt off. Was it jealousy? Surely not, he didn't even know the fella and thus he shouldn't feel that way. But a small part of him did and it irritated him. |
