Hear my prayers // Dimitri's plotter

i can't feel the way i did before don't turn your back on me i won't be ignored

Dimitri surrounds himself with a kind and gentle facade. If you need help with something, whatever it happens to be, he'll probably help you with it. Injured? He'll try to patch you up. Need some place to stay? He's got a sofa with your name on it. This doesn't necessarily mean he lets people close though. While he's more than happy to aid others and give them a shoulder to cry on, he's not exactly keen on others doing the same to him. He keeps people at an arm's length emotionally, and all in all is content to keep his problems and issues to himself. Getting him to open up enough past a superficial relationship is going to require effort.

Striving for a peaceful existence in which he can do the most good as possible, enemies are something that Dimitri will be doing his best to avoid. But he does have a darker side he fights to keep at bay, and that side of him revels in instigating and flaunting the fact that he's better than other people. So should someone exploit that part of him, enemies would be easy for him to make. A bit contradictory, really, but it honestly depends on what facet of him one's dealing with.

Love is a rather touchy subject for Dimitri, considering his past issues. cough cough murdering his best friend/crush So...yes! Generally those who'd be interested in him in that manner would have to deal with the same superficial nature of his actions as those who try to befriend him. He has a lot of baggage regarding those he might have a romantic interest in. Letting that close...Well, he doesn't exactly trust himself to handle himself in an appropriate manner. What if his willpower slips up and he ends reacting drastically to something again? He can't forgive himself for what he's done already, risking any further sin would be...Yeah. He'd have to be eased into it.
