Time flies; burnt to oblivion
The long night engulfs the anxious light
Over and over and over it ran in her mind. Like a clock, ticking to doom every moment, it ruined her sight. The woman was disguised, her long blonde hair let down into gentle flowing locks. Her clothing was a school uniform as well, looking proper. It was like she was from a nearby high school, as she held a bag as well, and was wandering the Aquarium after school hours. From time to time, she stopped and jotted notes about certain things she was seeing and reading, as if working to a project. The witch did have enough of a smaller frame to pass as such, as she wandered in the Aquarium, trying to shake the latest of those things off of her mind.
Those things were of course, nightmares. Nightmares that keep flying in and out of her mind, tugging at her back and forth. The screams of many; their expressions, tortures, needs, and Kimiko's unrelenting desire to end them; the very beings that had once been brought into her own life, and then expediently thrown out. It was a vicius circle, one that had been living in her own mind and being for quite a time. It didn't effect her as much as many would like to assume but the nightmares.. the nightmares involved the few she had grown tied to. The ones that the woman had trusted, and when they sullied it, slowly her mind degraded. Further and further, until there was nothing that could salvage the once innocent, trusting child.
But it was a dead child, and the better for it, because now life did not touch the woman's heart. The witch had discovered the darker paths, and buried herself into the search for it, hence her traveling around the Aquarium today. She wanted to gain more knowledge about marine life, in order to see if they would be adequate replacements for some ingredients that were well.. impossible. The practiced eye of the daughter to a Pharmaceutical Empire was well useful here. The lessons hammered into her mind by her teachers and mother echoed like ghosts of the past child. Now why would she even thing of relating those two? Useless, utterly useless, so it had to be cast away yes?
Perhaps that was what was bothering her. Today she felt weak; her egotistical self was almost out of the window, as she had adopted a more casual, normal look. Why did she parade with such things? These worried thoughts filled her mind, her heart feeling like a heavy stone, sinking to the bottom of the lake. She wanted someone to dig in, and bring it out. The woman let out a sort of exasperated sigh at herself, angry with this strange mood. She did not want to be saved; there was nothing to save her from. But the image of the child sitting alone at the front door, only to be left there kept crawling back in her mind's eye. She didn't.. want to be associated with that weakness!
Needless to say, she held no attention at that point, and stepped on someone's foot.
