SHINKANSEN HUMANS
So you want to be a shinkansen? Then this is the right thread for you. The shinkansen were formed three years ago by a woman named Hikaru Fuyuki. This woman formed the group to keep urakata in line and to make sure they stayed in line. This organization though new has swept throughout Japan and has become quite famous. Many do not know of the upper command of the shinkansen and believe it ends at the commanders. There are however two higher ups that are the leader and the second in command. The leader is believed to be a male and only a few know of her real gender and secret.
So you know a little background. So what do the shinkansen do exactly? The shinkansen round up free urakata as well as keep the ones enslaved inline. Many humans look up to them, and treat the with the upomst respect. The shinkansen is in a sense the police force of the current age. They keep the peace of both humans and urakata though they mostly dable in the urakata field of work. It should also be known that the Auction house is actually owned and run by the shinkansen though not many people really know that. They have a personal trainer for their own urakata though and tend to stay away from the auction house unless in rare cases.
Sounds good? Great. What does it take to be a shinkansen member? To be a shinkansen member your character Must be selected by the head of the group. Hikaru normally looks for members with the ability to adapt to many situations. She also looks for a hatred of urakata somewhere in the person's past. While your character may not completely hate urakata they Must be able to kill them if need be or put emotions aside for the best of the group. They are free to care about their urakata partners?

Is there anything special about the Shinkansen? That's a good question but for the most part no. Shinkansen members are human, however, most of them have extra abilities such as added on strength or speed. All of the members are also trained in at least ONE form of weapon. This comes in handy for any fights they may get involved in. They also have urakata partners that have been trained to be completely loyal to their masters only.
What are the ranks of the Shinkansen? There is a canon list that you can select ranks from. Please keep in mind that all these members would be hand picked by Hikaru. You do have the option to just make a normal member that can be recruited by a commander and up. They may choose a slave from the auction house. Any "special" ranks such as spies should be approved by WOLF before being applied for.
