The academy seemed to be alive with activity tonight, the normally quiet school was now alive with people running all over the grounds putting the finishing touches on the party preparations. Things were what most people would consider gorgeous with bright beautiful lights lining the walls, the best of silverware placed on each individual table that lined the outskirts of what was to be the dance floor - as if anyone really came to these things to dance. With the doors of the party opening people began to flood in, though one common factor of these people were they all came from wealthy families, the children and heirs of politicians, government officials, CEO's, and the likes anyone who was deemed unfit to be in their presence was turned away at the door.
Most people were excited to be here but it seemed that one girl had to be dragged into the building by her so called date, a young blond still in her teens being tugged around by a man three times her size. She dug her feet into the ground trying to keep from being taken any farther her dress already dirty at the bottoms from the careless girl dragging it through the dirt and everything else on her way up yeah she really didn't want to be here at all. " Let me go! If you weren't the size of a damn bear I would have already floored you!!", she hissed up at him quietly. Yuna had never been one for balls or parties or mingling of any sort for that matter, so to ensure she attended they sent her with a guard who was dressed just as fine as she was though he in her eyes was the size of a bear with no personality what so ever.
With a sigh she managed to finally jerk away from the man that was following her around pushing through the crowds of people, ignoring those that greeted her and finding her a nice spot at a table far away from everyone else. Oh how she loved being surrounded by snobs and jerks as they talked about how much money they or their parents had, yes it was every girls dream~ She would rather marry a urakata slave than some snobby man that was girlier than she was. " Shoot me now...."
( ROSALIND LICHTENBERG finally got it up )

High society loved to flock, and this was the first outing that Rosalind had ever done to such a thing. She had to keep her manners impeccable, her purity intact, and her company's pride filled. The girl let out a breath, as she was arriving with her father's car. Softly a butler extended his hand, the girl softly coming out of the car. Then, her father took her arm in his; he didn't trust her with a date at this time, as a lot of the buzz around was that the elusive daughter of UNCO would be present. That was probably why there was so many of the people here, excited and needy to see the girl that.. none of them had the pleasure to meet.
Considering how fast UNCO was rising, and how it catered to the needs of masters, people with usually enough disposable income to get a legion of Urakata slaves, it was often a slaughter to get into the new money's rich graces. It did help that her father was incredibly smart about the business, and knew how to expand in certain spots; like helping with the Shin.. shin.. well whatever those guys where. Although Rosalind knew this, she didn't know the meaning of slave, and the meaning of what was going on with her father's fortune. She was perfectly innocent to that darkness, something that worried him perhaps. The darkness that Rosalind had seen before was locked in, letting the sweet child that had been extinguished free reign.
But the girl was brought to the party, and immediately, several people swarmed her father. The man let his daughter to go explore, as she wanted to find someone of relatively her age.. or size. She felt really short, a mere 5'2 in height.. so even the most average of girls was a giant compared to the really child like red head. The girl was wearing a beautiful dress, emerald green in colour. It went with her eyes, and most of all it went with her hair, the fiery red. Although typically it was messed up, her hair was brushed, and shaded with a half a bun; the bun shape was present, but the rest of her hair tickled down her back.
It was a sleeveless dress, the bottom reaching up to about her knees, where she wore white stockings. Her shoes were white as well, but seemed to hold no heels. The girl's neck was adorned with a simple silver pendant. And her hands were free as well, as she wore a shawl like item over the top of her dress as well. The bottom was nice and fluffed out, with a sort of frill like texture, and the top fit her shape snugly. It left some room, but not enough to be saggy, and not too tight as to show every curve. She really felt embarrassed by wearing such pretty clothes, and edged herself away from the life of the party, trying to gather her breath.
She hadn't noticed when she sat down at a table with another girl, letting out a soft sigh. Calming her nerves, she looked around, seeing the blond haired girl. Surprised. Rosalind looked away, her green eyes blinked. She had just wanted someone alone to try and talk to.. well it seemed she had gotten her unspoken wish! The girl felt her body shuffle, and then took in a breath. Smiling at the blonde haired girl, she waved. ''Hello!'' she called out, tilting her head. ''My name is Rosalind Litchenberg. Please to meet you miss!'' she said, trying to be all friendly. It came naturally, but of course, the girl was a bit nervous. Was that even proper? The girl wasn't sure what so ever.
There were a bunch of eyes on her, and she felt really, really uncomfortable with them all..

This place was horrible! People dancing and talking with their noses so far up in the air like they were so much better than everyone else around them, in Yuna's eyes they were all equally snobbish but tonight she was no different. Her dress alone cost thousands of dollars with sparkles and sequins making their way up from the bottom not to mention the time and money her parents invested in her makeup and hair for the night, none of which Yuna really appreciated. Yes tonight she was a grade a snob just like everyone else, or at least she felt that way. She could kill her parents for putting her through this mess, they knew damn well she hated the social life of the rich and famous after all it wasn't like she fit in here anyways.
She sat quietly at her table watching as people danced around her to the soft music playing in the background, to most things would seem perfect but Yuna would dare to disagree. Leaning back in her chair with a bored look to her face she couldn't help but pick up a few words here and there all of which were about someone special coming to the party tonight, but who? While she was a bit curious to who this mystery person was in all honesty she could care less, it was probably just another heiress looking to sleep with as many people as possible, get married, and get all of their daddies money. Yeah that sounded about right~ After all that was what most people in this very room planned. Just as she began to get lost in her thoughts a young man approached her table and started to pull out a chair to sit though the cold glare Yuna was shooting in his direction was enough to scare him off in a hurry. " That's what I thought.", she huffed quietly before returning her attention to those around her.
It seemed the mystery guest arrived and instantly the sharks that were the snobs seemed to swarm, the dancing had almost came to a complete halt and all of the sudden it was like the entire party was on the complete opposite side of the room. With a roll of her eyes Yuna made no attempt to get up from her chair hardly amused with the actions of those around her, in the end they were all human who cared what everyone else had? She was content in her solitude taking a bit of pride in the fact that she wasn't another high heeled shark going after whoever it was that had arrived at the party, and then that solitude was shattered with one simple set of words directed at her in a squeaky little female voice that made her skin crawl. Her eyes moved to this Rosalind girl arching a brow at her unsure if she would be able to hold her tongue for to long. Most of the girls that Knew Yuna already knew she had a bit of an Alpha female complex meaning she could hardly stand anyone of the same gender as her, it had to be extreme circumstances for her to even hope to get along and while this girl seemed friendly enough in Yuna's eyes she was just another shark in adorable sheep clothing she had to be if she was at this party.
" Why hello to you to miss Rosalind Litchenberg~ My name is Yuna Jagura. ", she said in a sickly sweet voice and a slight tilt to her head taking in the girls appearance, her name was familiar but nothing that Yuna had taken to heart and remembered. She was obviously an heiress of some sort and apparently thought of herself enough to trot right on over to Yuna and try to be friendly, HOW DARE SHE?! " Now can you tell me something? Do you feel special?", she asked at first her tone going a bit cold eyes narrowing ever so slightly at the girl though Yuna still seemed friendly enough - as friendly as a porcupine that wanted hugs. " Because you must feel REALLY special to just come on over here like its nothing and try to talk to me.", and so it began poor Yuna just couldn't help herself it was in her nature~ If Rosa was a man she would probably have already offered her a seat and everything but for now it was time to establish dominance.

[/b][/font] V.Coloured, Free to Use music: Opheliac ∞ Emilie Autumn words: 0555 notes: Wee! XD This will be interestin'. credits: Template by PerfectFallacy[/ul][/blockquote][/div] Doubt thou the stars are fire but never doubt I love The girl she had found at the table was pretty. That's all Rosalind could think; that long blonde hair, those capturing eyes. Rosalind had the intense want to just.. play with the other's hair, to touch it and just feel the things within contact that only Rosalind seemed to be able to pull out. But the other had responded, if not nicely, to the German girl's greeting, as she felt a giant smile pop up on her face. Of course, nobody had notified her of queen bitch incoming, but probably even then, the stubborn girl would have pushed to talk to this one anyways. Rosalind was just like that, unwilling to bend her knees in half for what people used as a general opinion. She'd make her own.
But of course, the other girl began to grow cold; and it just seemed to fly over Rosalind's head. ''Special? Yeah I am. I mean, everyone thinks they're special, and they are right; special in their own world. So that means, if they're special to themselves, other people aren't special to themselves. Am I special to you? I don't think so. But that's why I went to say hi to you isn't it? Because friends are special, and I want to be your friend!'' she said, smiling at. Many people forgot; but under that happy, gentle mask that Rosalind wore, there was something.. something that could easily take in whatever was thrown at her. Maybe it was strength, maybe it was knowledge, or maybe it was just something that came with time, but Rosalind was majorly innocent by her own hand.
''Plus, you're the only one that seems honest.'' the girl added. Yes, that's what had bothered Rosalind; the lack of honesty in these people. She knew her father would just smile indulgently at her, but the girl was not stupid. She could see how people just weren't right. Something flashed in her mind, and for a second, her eyes were closed. But the smile was still on her face, taught to stay there no matter the pain. But the girl turned to the other and then grinned. ''So if everyone avoids you, I figure you're a friend worthy to make.'' she added cheerfully to her comments.
To be fair, anybody could see that Rosalind would not have a single insulting bone in her body, no matter how her words kind of sounded like one. But it was already obvious that Yuna would have a hard time to chase off this one, because Rosalind was stubborn as a rock, and would not give up. ''Oh right! Please to meet you Yuna-chan!'' she suddenly added, having forgotten to acknowledge the other's name. And as Rosalind always assumed, they were friends, even if the other girl would protest or be mean or something. The red haired girl just then looked out at the party, trying to seek her father with her eyes, and saw him, nice and safe. She was surprised nobody else walked straight up to Rosalind, but it may have been the presence of Yuna.
Well that didn't bother her much,a s she hummed something, waiting for the other girl's reactions to her.. well strange statements when viewed in the eyes of others. To Rosalind's own view however, it made perfect sense of course.
