kaylee is a pretty darn friendly and outgoing individual, all things considered. she's your typical idealistic, naive, determined sort of girl -- willing to put others before herself in the name of her own set of morals. her dream lifestyle is wistfully reminiscent of a main character from one of the many superhero comic books she has stashed under her bed. while that could certainly turn some people off (what a weird girl, after all!), kaylee doesn't much let other people's opinions of it get the best of her. she's a bundle of contradictions: over-confident yet insecure, attention-loving yet frightened by the center stage, etcetera. the young woman doesn't see her own life as valuable or meaningful, yet she's willing to risk her own freedom by showing herself in order to rescue others. a bit eccentric, no? regardless, kaylee is sympathetic/empathetic and always willing to reach out and test her limits a bit. the social scene definitely wouldn't be something she's a stranger to. the ideal best friend would be the plusle to her minun -- a partner in crime with which she could be joined at the hip. besides that, friends of either gender or species (though she does hold a bit of a grudge against humans, given her past experience as a slave) are always welcome! no limits here!



oh, sure, a girl like kaylee is bound to have enemies all around. if not only because she's the wanna-be masked vigilante vying to risk her own freedom to free slaves and do justice to urakatakind. though she as a rule feels instinctively wary around humans and masters in particular, it's the risky and cruel ones that she despises so very much. anyone that strikes her as such a person is immediately black-listed, and as narrow-minded as the girl is, she isn't likely to relent. if you threaten her freedom, she'll never trust you. anyone who disapproves of her cause and/or actions would probably not take so much of a liking to her, especially at those times where she isn't particularly shy about them. a rivalry, friendly or not, is viable and always fun to play out. anything from mutual to one-sided from either end is more than acceptable, and drama certainly makes for excitement!



what girl doesn't dream of love and that picture-perfect happy ending? kaylee is certainly no exception. gender is something she's never really bothered to distinguish, because she figures there's much more important things to worry about, right? with the abusive sort of people she's dealt with in the past, however, it takes someone of a certain aura for her to open up to them. an individual who won't judge her just because of her strange insistence to be a masked hero and deeply rooted "nerdy" sort of love for comics that started it all. a person who would let her soar free instead of tying her down, and remind her that, yeah, her life is worth something, too. urakatas would be the most likely candidates; you'd have to be one hell of a human for her to trust you enough with the soul that was shattered by her old master. drama is fun, guys! anything past, present, or future -- as long-term or short-term as you'd like -- is open to suggestion.


in the way of family, kaylee has lost all touch with relatives -- she's been without them for a long time, and assumes herself to be living her life without them in the picture. however, childhood friends or acquaintances could be an option! the brunette makes a conscious effort to keep her distance from anyone she may know from her previous life as a slave, for both security reasons and as a way to further separate herself from the past that she refuses to ever even acknowledge. but anyone before that period in her life, or perhaps one or two select individuals who were close enough not to be left behind with the rest of the memories, are negotiable! if anyone wants to volunteer as the abusive master kaylee managed to escape from (whether it be a pre-established or to-be-made character), that would be wonderful to play out, too! besides all of the above, any other scenarios that you can think of are always open for the sharing. don't be shy!
