There was no reason for him to be bothered by that. What confused him was the look he got. Really it wasn't as if Lynx had done anything that bad. He wasn't entirely trying to be mean to people. He just liked to play his games and never took no for an answer. It wasn't in his nature, though Sen sometimes managed to keep him under control. Noel however was alone, and wouldn't be so lucky on this one. Usually. Right now Lynx was trying to avoid hurting his foot more, that brat had a good stomp when he got angry apparently. But really with that boy backing up he only managed to find the game he had been playing before. Seriously it wasn't that bad was it? Lynx only smirked a little bit, he could get to Noel again if he wanted to.
Somehow. Not that it mattered to begin with either at this point. Right now he also needed to focus on this a bit. Even if it might not get them anywhere by now. Lynx and Noel both seemed to enjoy playing games with each other. Even if they refused to admit that they did enjoy things like that. He hated to lose to people he didn't like, or just lose in general . So most of the time he made sure that never happened. Not like he'd let it happen with Noel either, right now it seemed they were tied on this one instead. The Urakata only growled at him setting his foot back down on the ground. At least it was starting to feel a bit better, and that pain had faded basically completely.
Just a dull ache would have been fine too, but it was completely gone. So now he had a small upper hand didn't he? Against Noel? Who knew. They'd have to see at some point anyway. Though he'd rather not think about those things. "Oh did you? Plenty of favors huh. Amusing." Really this was all just too amusing to him. Noel thought he did. Maybe so after all most would have shoved him off long ago. Though he didn't entirely understand why even any of this mattered to him. Not like he knew this person before he walked into this room to play a game. But of course the game they had played must have been very amusing to keep him interested in this person.
Just like with Sen. This guy really wanted to just keep on pushing his buttons it seemed. Even if he wasn't all that worried about it by now. Perhaps he needed to stop holding onto things in this way. It wouldn't end up doing him much of any good by now. Yet Lynx seriously did like playing games with him. He just made it away too easy to get amused by those things either way. The Urakata growled, but just put his hand in the other male's that tiny little frame he could snap it with just a simple hug probably. Though it probably didn't matter either by this point.
"You better not that hurt enough. It's Lynx..." That was all he said, he didn't need to have a last name. After all the people weren't supposed to get close to others. If that happened he'd only end up getting in trouble. |

Okay, so step one to becoming a civilized girl that wasn't flirty dangerous with an urakata seemed to be working. Kinda. Sorta. The urge to tease him was still there but Noel was being a good boy and not going for it. He was in a public place where children could enter at anytime. Right, civilized. Noel gave the fox a bit of a nervous smile. With a hand at the back of his neck he looked down towards the ground. "Yeah, I suppose that did kinda hurt." Well, looking down at his heel he could see it was at a very sharp point. But then again, that hit was meant to hurt. His game had gotten out of control and that was something Noel didn't like. He had to have some kind of hold on the other, not vice versa.
Still, at least he learned the name he had been playing with, Lynx. It was a different name for a different kind of Urakata. In a way, it was almost fitting how the name went with the black fox. Seemed like this would be off to a good start now. They where at name bases after his face was promptly sucked on for a moment. Mmm, maybe he should be more careful with who he teases or he might find himself kidnapped one day. Or well, that was what his urakata often told him. Noel was just so sweet and innocent looking with a huge dirty mind---who wouldn't want to kidnap someone like that?
The blond now clawed to think of something to talk about other then well, what had just happened a few moments ago. The urakata wasn't too bad at his craft but still, he outta be careful. No need to get put into that kind of situation again were he might no drill a show into the mans foot. "So, any games here take your fancy other then my own?" He asked, fishing for something to do other then well, teasing him again. Plus, there still was the fact that he wasn't sure if the other was serious about that dinner comment because the little blond was going to get hungry sooner or later. "Or did my bottom just distract you from all the good things in life?" Okay, back to the teasing without realizing it. He really needed to learn to watch his words a bit better. Once he realized what he said his little cheeks turned color as he lowered his forehead into the palm of his head.
"Let me rephrase that. What kind of game did you want to play before you---" yeah, no, there was no escaping that sentence. "What genre do you play, Lynx? Much better!

Perhaps he needed to think over things a tad bit differently. If he could manage to do that at all. Sen if he was here would know that little Lynx didn't like to open up into this. And he'd rather just not deal with this. Maybe it wouldn't end up helping them that much. They might only end up flirting, and fighting again. Not that it mattered. That nervous smile was annoying, he wanted to smack it or...kiss it off his face? Something like that. Seriously these thoughts were confused, and right now Lynx was getting irritated. Growling low in his throat he only gave a small nod. Trying to calm down instead of bringing attention to himself. After all who knew when someone else might walk in.
And when Noel might try to kick him again. Or stomp on his foot. Seriously people were weird, and this one was weirder then most. Something about him just didn't make sense, and in general was hard to think about. It kinda hurt? It was more then a kinda hurt. But Lynx only rolled his eyes and laughed. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. At that moment he had to wonder just what he might be getting into. Talking to a master had never been his strong point. Half the time he didn't care what they thought. Even if it got back to Sen. Lynx was only more amused now, it seemed that little game had annoyed him.
Which wasn't so bad. Seriously the boy knew what he wanted. And he wasn't about let someone else take over for him. Either way he needed to work on things. In his own way at the very least. The boy only put his hands behind his head, and just watched Noel. Where would this cute little puppet go. It couldn't be all that bad, right now he'd rather end up focusing on something else instead. Like just where could he pin this girly person. Where no one would see them, after all people did a lot of things in public. Which was a tad bit gross, if he had any concern about that to begin with.
Lynx wasn't all that into giving his information away, so Noel should just consider how lucky he might be at this point. Either way things had happened. There was no getting past it even if he wanted to. Perhaps he needed to stop talking, wait he wasn't even talking. He was just waiting for Noel to say something. Something that he could use against him in some form or another really. Lynx could be such a little brat when he wanted to be. Lynx only laughed and leaned back on the heels of his feet. Really this kid was just making it way too easy for him. Even if he'd rather not talk about that thing. Maybe he needed to but maybe he didn't actually need to do that.
Right now he'd rather focus on something else. Since apparently he couldn't tap that anymore. Or at least not right now. This had amused him a lot, and he still wanted to play the game. "Hm~ I'm not into those games you play. Never been able to play these games for long. Master gives me ones I can play while at those stupid work meetings though..but eh not the same. So whatever. Aww is the cutie having issues thinking of what to talk about?" Maybe he should take him out, after all dinner would be good. Would be easier anyway, or at least in his mind it would be. Plus the boy was more into the scary ones, he liked the jump scares. They made him laugh. "Have you ever tried one of those scary ones? They make me laugh?" He asked randomly, it wasn't like he was that good at conversations either, unless they were trolling, teasing or making people mad. |

Sadly, Noel had no idea how lucky he was to even get Lynx’s first name. He never thought this kind of basic information wasn’t free to the general public. He took that kind of information for granted as it was nothing more then an everyday thing. You meet someone, you learn a bit about them and then you decided if you hate them or like them. At this moment, he wasn’t sure what to think of the fox. He wasn’t an easy read like most people and he couldn’t decide how to roll his dice with this man. Should he shake them hard and let them fly or let lady luck do all the work for him?
It was almost like he was tap dancing around a pit full of vipers and one wrong move might send him into a horrific scene. Still, the blond shrugged away his concerns and returned to the subject at hand. Trying to figure out what makes Lynx tick and apparently that was easier said then done. Noel popped his sucker back between his lips and lazily twirled it around, enjoying the flavor. ”Is that so?” He asked with an arched brow. Playing games at work, hm. That sounded a bit fun but what did not sound fun was being called out on having no idea what to talk about. The blond narrowed his eyes lightly before replying, ”Well, it is hard to make conversation when someone doesn’t give you much information to go on. All I got is a name and that you get bored with gamse.” What else was he supposed to say to that. ”Surely, you must enjoy something.” He drawled out with a flick of his wrist.
Then came about the discussion over scary games. That was something Noel avoided. Anything that made his heart thump too much in his chest was a bad thing. That included most games that could make him hyperventilate as well as a few movies and activates. Not wanting to out right declare he had a heart condition he merely shrugged his shoulders with a bored expression. ”I don’t care for scary things, honestly. It’s all the same, jump out of nowhere and make you scream like you’re about to have a heart attack. I prefer more easy going ones with some kind of story.”

After all the group he worked for was always busy. So most of the slaves didn't exactly get to have friends where as the masters did basically. Right now this was a time where he actually got some rest, so he'd take advantage of this somehow. The fox never made things easy for people, or he would have died long ago. Being part of that group and all. People might end up trying to kill him if he wasn't careful. It's why he avoided seriously getting close to other people anyway. Simple enough wasn't it? Not that Noel would understand anything that might be going through his head by this point anyway. Why did it seem that this boy wanted to push him?
Seriously it wasn't like Noel and Lynx knew each other outside of this. No they had enough going on right now. It probably didn't matter all that much. Right now he barely knew just what he wanted. The game had ended, and he hated that idea. Lynx would never let things go like this again. He'd either leave next time or keep on pushing the game. He wasn't one to be that easy to get to anyway. Right? Mostly. Perhaps he wasn't in a bad place, this master hadn't been that mean to him at the very least anyway. Not that he knew what would happen if Sen showed up out of the blue. Which he didn't exactly want either by now.
The boy poked his tongue out between his lips, and gave a sound that almost sounded like a low hiss. He couldn't complain much on this one. Why the heck would he anyway? Maybe he needed to do things differently, or maybe he didn't. It wasn't that important either way, and he'd rather just not deal with that thing. The best way he knew how to at this point. Either way things were already done. "I'm not allowed to give information away~ you want it work for it." That was all he said as he just licked over his lips before pulling his tongue back into his mouth. Really by now he couldn't be too worried. Even if maybe he should have been right? This couldn't be so good for him, but did he even have to care.
"Oh I do~ but why would I tell you?" He laughed and just crossed his arms over his chest this didn't matter to him that much. It would be okay for him anyway. Or so he thought. Perhaps Lynx was finally letting some of his walls down. As if he wanted to care, He wasn't one of those Urakata that cared if people learned everything. But he had been told over and over again he couldn't do that anyway. He only shrugged. Really it was't like Lynx cared about whatever was going through that girly boy's mind. None of it mattered to him, he had his own plans with things anyway.
"well whatever you like." That was all he said as he went back to messing with the strings on his coat. |

While Lynx seemed to be debating life and his general highlights, the small blond was doing just the opposite. He had no problem sharing information with most people. He was the type to be a butterfly within the social world and he wasn't affraid to get close to people. He liked people and he liked talking to them as long as they proved to be entertaining. Now, if they where truly an interesting person then that was more points to them. Would Noel see the other again? Who could honestly say but he wasn't the type to worry about that kind of thing just yet. He had just met the tall fox moments ago and well, he wouldn't mind running into him again even though he wasn't sure what to think about those roaming hands of his just yet.
Normally, that sort of behavor didn't fly. But after being locked up in his studio and working on clothing forever, he didn't disagree with the physical contact completely. Mmm, he should relly be more careful next time or someone might trip him up in a dark ally somewhere and do terrible things to him. Noel turned his attention to his sucker for a moment as he twisted the treat between his fingers by the end of the stick. Yes, he shouldn't push the fox any further afterall, he really didn't know him now did he?
The small master watched the fox seem to have a bit of trouble going on in his head. He could only wonder what was going on in the urakata's brain for a biref moment. The answer came all to clearly a moment later. Noel smiled at the other, "And what would I have to do to work for it, if by chance it was worth the time?" One game had ended and it seemed like a second might come to life.
Still with that charming personality Noel only tilted his head to the side. "Why? Mmm, I don't know. I suppose to share a bit of information to see if we have something in common like most people do when they speak to one another? Though, I could be terribly wrong about that, right Sugar?" He didn't laugh but he was being rather sassy with his words and the scarasm behind that sass was plain as the nose on his face.
Mmm, whatever he liked? Well, he couldn't argue with that as each person had their own little thing that they liked or enjoyed. Like, Noel enjoyed suckers but he didn't really know if the other did at all. He assumed he might with how he took the sucker and was now currently licking his lips a bit too flirty. Noel tapped Lynx on the lower lip with his sucker idly. "Well, there are a lot of things I do like."

Not that he was annoyed with the girly boy. Nope it was something else. Something else entirely really. Lynx didn't like being so secretive but at the same time it made him amused. They could play little games like this. It seemed once one game ended another one had suddenly begun. Without much of a flip of the hand. Lynx hadn't done much of anything. He just spoke. If the person didn't like that well then so be it. He wasn't made for pleasing people, he was only made for hunting down those bratty rebel Urakatas. This human really had no idea what he was getting into it seemed. Maybe that was for the best. If people didn't know, then they would never get swept up in it. Or hurt.
Whichever really came first. Would they ever talk after this? Though he'd rather not end up asking. Lynx didn't need to think about that. Hell no he was all about having fun and doing things that interested him. Instead of being forced out into the darkness of the world. Really he'd rather just not deal with those things. It wasn't like talking with people had ever been any importance to him really. By this point he just didn't care. The fox bug just shrugged his shoulders, putting his arms behind his back. Did this even matter? Noel seemed to think that he should maybe try to communicate more. But no he wasn't going to end up doing that, he'd just rather not do that.
Lynx hoped the boss didn't call him back soon. After all that man had no sense of letting his slave have some fun at least. Mostly. However he needed to just focus on something else instead, rather then deal with the wrong things that the group he was in dealt with. That was private matters entirely, and he wouldn't bring it up. Why had Noel gone along with his little game for awhile? Till he got fed up apparently then stomped down on his poor toes. They still hurt right now even if he didn't admit that one. "That's up to you isn't it? If I told you it'd just make things way too easy." The boy laughed, and just crossed his arms over his chest now. Really by now he wasn't bothered.
"I guess so whatever you want. Really Sugar. Hah you are enjoying this." Lynx was too but the sugar thing. It was a tad bit annoying. He didn't know what to say about that. After all he said that randomly. and not with much purpose. Maybe it was just Noel's nature? Who really knew by this point. "I can tell by the way you are sucking that~ your boyfriend must be a very lucky man." He teased as he spoke, really both could play this game if she really wanted to do that. |

Well, it seemed like he wasn't going to get any kind of information out of the lad. None, whatsoever. That kind of irritated the little blond as he didn't see what harm it would be in making a bit of chit-chat. Really, what was the harm in shooting the breeze and getting to know someone? It wasn't like knowing Lynx was going to get him kidnapped or killed. Besides, he wasn't worth anything in the long run to his knowledge. Still, he supposed he could keep on keeping on and hope that the fox would share something with him. Even if it was just his favorite color.
"Make things easy, hm?" he commented with a look of discontent. He pouted softly while looking up at the fox. "Well, you are making things rather diffcult. I am almost starting to think there is a price with everything for you." He could almost sense that statement being a bit true to home. Still, it made the game all the more entertaining. "Now, I just wonder what that price might be." The fox only seemed to laugh at him and Noel didn't mind it too much.
Was Noel really enjoying this? Probably. He liked playing hard to get for just about anything. But for him to contuine his game he had to have something to keep him trailing along or he would lose interest as fast as a kitten with too many toys. He merely shrugged at the statement without much care. So what if he did have to much fun, nothin wrong with that.
Noel however did stop twirling his ever shrinking sucker around as he paused. Had he heard that little comment right? He was pretty sure he did. The blond half smiled at Lynx and shook his head lightly at him. It seemed the little pervert was back at it making sly statements. A small tint of pink touched his cheeks. Bright eyes stared down at his sucker for a long moment as if he as debating on something. He seemed to have found the answer he was looking for though. "Jealous, Lynx?" He asked with a wiggle of his golden brows. With a small chuckle he then added, "Don't be, I don't have a boyfriend." With that said, he crunched down on his small sucker and chewed on the hardcandy all the looking up at Lynx. Noel hadn't had a boyfriend in such a long time but he wasn't going to announce that little tid bit to the world.

Mostly knowing just how it'd end up. People who got close to him would die? They'd probably end up getting hurt all because of him anyway. Yet he didn't know what to do, sighing lightly he'd rather ignore this. He couldn't care much for that anyway, Noel was amusing to him. He did like to be around this little shrimp, even if it wouldn't end up meaning much. As if he'd bother to speak of what he might be feeling right now. Or those thoughts going through the fox boy's mind. Things would be way too easy if he just let him learn it all. For now he'd rather make that boy work for it.
If Noel wanted to know, he had to earn the right to know. And right now he didn't even think that person deserved the right to know. Mostly right? Perhaps this wasn't so bad, he didn't bother to dwell on things more then he needed to. Lynx only wondered just how much Noel wanted to know about him. Or would he even learn any of it. Right now he'd rather just shrug this off. Wondering if it might get easier for him. Which who knew it probably wouldn't end up doing that anyway. "Oh I wouldn't say there is for everything. Really that doesn't matter does it? Either way you can earn it in a way without money." That was all he said as he shrugged his shoulders.
This wasn't exactly something he liked, he never talked to people this much. So why the heck would he even try to now? Noel was fun to play with but there wasn't much else to it really. Not in his mind. "The price...hm...well I want to learn more about you in return. So how about we label that the price?" He had to wonder if Noel would go for that , after all things were already awkward enough. For both of them, they had been flirting. But now they were doing something else it seemed. Something different. At least they weren't trying to kill each other right now, this was good enough for him.
He only shrugged, and crossed his arms behind his head. No one of this bugged him, he'd rather not end up dealing with it. If it could matter at all. Right now he did have more then enough going on through his head. Lynx only shrugged again then laughed. "Really don't think too much on that? I'm not jealous or anything. Oh really so the cutie is by himself. Aww isn't that sad?" This didn't bother him, neither did that chomping sound really. It couldn't be all that bad for him by now anyway. |

Noel was feeling cocky and probably a bit to much at the moment. He felt like he was on top of his game when in reality he probably wasn't. But who would want to bust his cute little bubble? He was getting somewhere with the cute fox but how far he was really getting was unknown. Maybe if he pulled a bit more he could learn something about the urakata that might prove to be interesting. "Oh, I plan to earn it without money. I just got to figure out a way to wiggle information out of you." Like anything at all. Maybe his favorite color, style, what he liked to eat. Anything that might form a kind o connection between the two that didn't quite exist yet.
At the suggestion of the price, Noel shrugged his shoulder. Share information, seemed simple enough. Heck, he planned on doing that anyways or forming a conversation would be a bit diffcult. "Sound's like an equal trade to me. What would you like to know?" Asked the blond master as he finished off his sucker and disgarded the stick into a near by trashcan with a flick of his fingers. Now without candy the blond had to find something else to keep him occupied beyond speaking. He was the type to keep his hands busy and he did it the best way he knew how. He walked past Lynx and gave, hip checked him and put a quarter into the machine next to him.
With a new game started that he had no idea how to play he could now focus much better on the conversation. Noel laughed a little, "Oh, no worries. It won't get to my head but this little cutie is by himself. Mmm, but it's not that |
